THE SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM

The main purpose of the School Age Program @ The Children of Tomorrow Inc. is to provide school age children with experiences that build self-confidence and self-esteem while broadening perceptions of themselves and of our beautiful world during their out-of-school time. We offer year-round before and after school programs. We are open during all school vacations, professional development days, early release days, snow days and delays,  and for Summer camp as well!!

 

We will teach environmental and ethnic diversity providing opportunities to explore their creativity and find their artistic voice. We will adapt the activities to what is age and interest appropriate. The other important aspect is to provide an environment where children can create lasting friendships and foster positive peer interactions. 

 

The children will have opportunities to participate in a variety of activities every day in our air-conditioned, newly renovated indoor game and activity rooms, in our outdoor classroom and also in countless outdoor activities. Children will also have access to individual work stations where they can get a head start on homework as well.
 

We will be doing all this while trying to make sure everyday is an awesome and invaluable experience; after all, socialization and friendship are what makes any childhood experience memorable.

We hope children will learn to appreciate the very small wonders as well as the enormous ones and realize how one person can make a world of difference.

Children will have opportunities to explore indoor and outdoor activities such as; drawing, painting, woodworking, science experiments, building and engineering activities, sewing, clay creations, sculpting, tie-dye art, cooking, music & movement, sports, group games and silly competitions, drama and much, much more!! If you would like to get your children involved in a school age program that is safe, fun, exciting and (don’t tell them), but perhaps educational too, look no further.​

  • The School Age Program is open to children entering grades K-6.

  • We maintain small, regulated  groups with a maximum of 13 children per adult.

  • Our program is licensed and monitored by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. All of our staff have completed an extensive State and National background record check process and EEC StrongStart Training.
